The scenario numbers given (40 percent of first responders and health care workers are absent and the work load doubles or triples for the 60 percent who come into work for six months before available vaccine) Can this really work for six months? Can any agency stay in this type disaster mode for that long? Looking at Katrina many Agencies nearly collapsed in 2-3 weeks not the six months we may need. I'm looking for better planning to take care of those who show up.
